Our forestry and harvesting work fully complies with NES‑CF (the National Environmental Standards for Commercial Forestry), ensuring sustainable and responsible forest management.  Our environmental practices include:

• Preparing harvest notices and ensuring all relevant notifications are in line with NES‑CF requirements.
   
• Managing resource consents where required, particularly for earthworks, harvesting, and other activities that have the potential to impact sensitive environments.
   
• Conducting regular environmental audits of job sites to verify compliance and track performance across all operations.
   
• Active management of forest slash and residual material, with a focus on reducing or eliminating forest‑waste and mitigating potential environmental harm.
   
• Ongoing assessment of environmental impacts, from pre harvest planning through to post harvest clean‑up and site rehabilitation with a commitment to improvement.
